Facing up with the reality¡¡

The adventures of Annie and my “passive” students
This all began when I wanted to try something different to what I had experienced in Gimnasio Unicor which was like a dream come true… so nice, so perfect¡¡ Now in my secondary professional practices I wanted a challenge, I wanted Cristobal Colón ¡¡¡
For those who have been surrounded by  experiences with quiet and good manner students, this new experience in Cristobal Colon would be so different like a puzzle, because you have all your stuff( material, mind, motivation) prepared and suddenly, all these preparation break down or I would say, students break it down. Still I love them so much because these ones are who will make me stronger professionally and integrally talking.
Regarding the school in general, they received me very kindly, my practice Coordinator, the academic and discipline coordinator.
My 7th grade Students come from other schools, they are humble people with a low social status, having serious problems like drugs, low academic level, personality (violence, self-esteem), and no motivation towards English, with few exceptions of course, this is the reality I am facing.
Poor English is not a secret and I will have to struggle with this and other issues like respect, values in general, to teach them TO LISTEN mainly to pre-service teachers like me (practicantes) which are disregarded.
